While NHI operates on a trimester basis with Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer

All classes are evenings and weekends. Some advanced courses have
prerequisites. While someone may complete the entire program in two
to three terms, many choose to attend at their own pace as time and
financial resources allow.

About Natural Healing Institute of Western Kentucky
Natural Healing Institute was established in May, 2003. Formerly Natural Health Institute of Western Kentucky, its co-founder and director, Lisa Bozarth, then assumed full ownership and renamed the school. Additionally, Bozarth increased the educational program from a 500 hour program to a 600 hour program. Toward the goal of quality education, our classes are small and led by our experienced licensed professional faculty. This program qualifies the graduate to apply for the National Certification Examination and Kentucky licensure to practice professionally.
Students of the Professional Massage and Bodywork Therapy program attend classes in a 3000 square-foot, state-of-the-art new school that boasts a 1200 square-foot classroom. The spacious new facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources, including professional massage tables, on-site massage chairs, reflexology chairs, teaching props and more. Adjacent to the classroom is the facility’s 1200 square-foot suite, featuring six intern clinic rooms, administrative offices and a tranquil lobby. Students also have convenient access to restroom facilities, break areas and parking.
Natural Healing Institute of Western Kentucky is licensed as a postsecondary vocational educational institution by the Commonwealth of Kentucky State Board for Proprietary Education.
Additionally, NHI is a school of council for Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) and American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).
